Art shows us the beauty of both God and man.

As created beings, we’re an extension of His creative works. So how we create on His behalf goes far beyond works of art, though works of art are still one of the best ways to encourage that creative impulse.

Just as you relate to nature, you can connect to the Divine through art, but the encounter is sometimes more striking because it also reminds you of your connection to other human beings. In enjoying the works of an author or a painter, you’re joining them in community as they explore that connection.

By raising your awareness of art, you’re daring to imagine the works of art you might create. Perhaps on the page or the blank canvas, but more importantly, in your creative contribution to life itself.
