Creation

In most cultures, it’s believed that in order to truly see the world and your place in it, you have to know where you come from. Usually, this is limited to tracing your family history. But you also need to understand the God who created you in the first place.

God, like any artist or inventor, has a vested, intimate interest in His creation, so much so that He was present in creation from the beginning.

We look at life and so often find ourselves alone—despondent, hopeless, and empty—not unlike the vain and formless chaos in the first verses of Genesis. But if you look again, you’ll see you are connected to a Creator who is both present and much closer than you think.

That should radically change the way you see the world.
