Hope For A Release From Pain
Hope for a Release from Pain
The best way to confront your pain is to remember that one day it will be no more.
Whether it’s the pain of physical sickness, emotional wounds, or grief, it’s a tall order to face your pain and seek healing or wholeness. You’ve gained some tools to climb that mountain, but the best equipment doesn’t make the mountain any less steep or challenging to climb.
So while you address your pain, embrace the comfort of God and others who will enter into your suffering and help you bear these burdens. They may not remove the pain or the source that caused it, but they will remind you that you matter, and that will sustain you to climb again.
The comfort you receive will give you hope for the final comfort, when there will be a release from all pain.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
—Matthew 5:4
