The Beginning Is Also The End

The Beginning Is Also the End

It’s funny how quickly we can lose sight of what matters. You start off strong but are lured away by the trinkets of superficial living.

Of course, faltering simply means we’re human, so you shouldn’t condemn yourself. But one key to remaining faithful to what matters is to remember where it all comes from in the first place.

Indeed, God is the source. He set all that matters in motion, and He is guiding it along the way. He is called the alpha and omega, both the beginning and the end. He was the first cause of your desire to pursue what matters. Ultimately, it will be up Him to move your desire to action, your action to perseverance, and your perseverance to completion.

None of us is absolutely faithful. Only God is. So the only way to become more faithful to what matters is to stay connected to the Source of all faithfulness.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
