Trusting In The Provision Of God

Trusting in the Provision of God

What is it that truly brings joy and happiness?

Some might say winning the lottery. Win the lottery and you no longer have to worry. You’d have all the money you need and life would be good.

But you’ve heard the stories. Many who win are not happy. Some end up in bankruptcy. Many lose family and friends. Some even die.

Why? Perhaps it’s because once they finally have so much, they’re in constant fear of losing it. Or once they have the power to buy whatever they want, they realize they can’t buy what they really need.

Some people say that money is the root of all evil. But it’s not money. It’s the love of money. In order to get free from the rat race, you simply need to learn how to put money in its place. The role money should really play is to remind you that money doesn’t matter.

Trusting in God as your provider is what matters.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. —1 Timothy 6:10
