Whatever It Takes
Whatever It Takes
What do you want? Some people never ask this question, but hopefully you have by now.
Another question: If what you want matters, what are you willing to sacrifice to get it? This one is often a deal-breaker. Many want a life that matters, but they don’t want to put in the hard work it takes to attain it.
But if you want to become a better human being, that kind of discipline is non-negotiable. Nothing worth having comes easy. Even the most satisfying sleep and peace are usually won through a day’s hard work of intentional living.
Whether it’s improving your character, making better choices, or achieving a better life, the goal has to be worth the sacrifice, or you’ll never put in the effort and endure the pain to reach it.
Becoming a better human being matters. What are you willing to do to get there?
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. —Proverbs 16:3
