Adventure
adventure - How can I view life as an adventure rather than a burden to bear?
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:20
All glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Ephesians 3:20
Thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.
2 Corinthians 2:14
OUR GOD is not a boring God. He spoke the universe into existence; he parted the sea for Moses; he summoned a fish to swallow Jonah for three days; he brought Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego out of a fiery furnace. The list goes on. Living a life of adventure depends entirely on our perspective. Do we believe God created us for more than just muddling through a mundane life? What if we woke up each morning looking for opportunities to hear God’s voice and to watch how God is unfolding his glorious plan in our lives? No matter what our responsibilities are as women—as employees, volunteers, wives, or moms—every day is an opportunity for adventure. God has a beautiful journey planned for your life, and all you need to do is to seek him and say yes when he calls you.
