Psalm 90:12

WHEN WORK, relationships, and commitments press down on us, it can feel impossible to find the energy to live each day well. But the truth that we must hold on to is that each day is a gift. Think about the “lasts” that could happen today. What if today were the last day of summer? What if today were the last time your child crawled up onto your lap to snuggle? What if today were the last time you heard the voice of someone you love? Waking up each morning with this perspective will strengthen you to live today well. Ask God to help you cherish each moment of your day—even the ones that feel messy or insignificant. You will soon find yourself waking up each morning saying, “This is the day the Lord has made! I will be rejoice and be glad in it!”
