Are you seeking great things for yourself? Don’t do it! Jeremiah 45:5

If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. James 4:4

Enoch lived 365 years, walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared, because God took him. Genesis 5:23-24

Have you ever set a goal for yourself? Did you reach it? Why or why not? The kinds of goals you set should help you develop a better relationship with God. That means focusing on God and on his direction for your life, not on seeking only pleasure or great things for yourself. The Bible says that Enoch had a great relationship with God for 365 years! Why not walk with God for the next 365 days? What would it take for you to reach this goal?

This Is Promising

Love the LORD your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul. Joshua 22:5
