Ask Me!

Ask Me!
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
WOMEN ARE FULL OF GREAT IDEAS, but so few of us really ask God to make the ideas happen. God commands us to come to him for advice, direction, and wisdom.
Ask. He knows you want it. “For your Father knows what you need before you ask him” (Matthew 6:8, NIV).
Ask in agreement with another. “I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19, NIV).
Ask, especially if it will bring glory to God. “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13, NIV).
Ask, and remain in God’s Word for the answer. “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you” (John 15:7, NIV).
Ask with right motives. “You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures” (James 4:2-3, NIV).
Ask if it’s in God’s will; he will answer. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him” (1 John 5:14-15, NIV).
All he can say is no; then you’re in the same spot as you are now. But God may say yes! Our vulnerability in asking will only strengthen and grow our relationship with him. Just ask!
