Bask In His Faithfulness

If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.

Who are you really—deep down inside? Do you really love others? Are you truly faithful to your family and friends? Faithfulness is necessary for maintaining love because even those we hold closest to our hearts will occasionally disappoint us. In the same way, there are times when we’re unfaithful to God. But even when we fail him, God loves us and remains faithful to his promises. How incredible that even “if we are unfaithful, he remains faithful.” That’s a pretty amazing deal, don’t you think? God’s love for us is profound. Model that same love to others by remaining faithful to them even when they fail you. Your steadfastness will show that your love is genuine.
