God Is Beside You

Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

True courage comes from understanding that God is stronger than your biggest problem and fiercest enemy and that he uses his power to help you. Instead of misplaced confidence in your own strength, courage is well-placed confidence in God’s strength. While fear comes from feeling alone against a great threat, courage comes from knowing that God is beside you and helping you to fight. We can find strength and courage in the promise that our good God is with us wherever we go.
