Loving God

Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.

Like a father with his child, God is delighted when you love him with all your heart and soul. He loves it when you imitate his character by displaying integrity, honesty, and purity of heart. When you obey God, it shows him that you love him enough to trust him with your life. God loved us first (see 1 John 4:10), and each time you return his love through obedience, he bathes you in ever deeper oceans of his truth and love.
