Relax Into God’s Counsel

To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge.

In an age of conflicting claims and confusing information, everyone is anxiously looking for guidance. Maybe that’s why counselors are in such great demand and advice columns are so common. But there is a critical difference between worldly advice and godly counsel. God’s wisdom is best because he is all-knowing. Through his Word, God—the one who knows everything that will happen today and tomorrow and in the future—wants you to relax in the knowledge that leads to understanding. Then you will have the wisdom to weigh and interpret advice from others.
