All Things Are Working Together

Breathe Deep and Know: More is happening than you can see. Living by faith means trusting that the pieces are all working together, even if you can’t see the whole picture yet.

We can’t see all the ways God is working in our lives. We may sometimes feel forgotten, alone, or afraid. But the truth is that we are never alone and God never stops working. He never leaves us.

We don’t know how all the days, all the trials, all the messy, imperfect moments are working together. This day, this season, this struggle are tiny pieces of a much bigger picture. Like pieces of a puzzle, we tend to focus on this one little piece in our hand right now—we mull over it, trying to reshape it or change it to force it to fit or make sense. But when we look only at that one piece, we lose sight of the beautiful bigger picture. This little piece on its own doesn’t make much sense right now, but as it locks in with the other pieces, a good and beautiful picture will emerge.

Trust God with the pieces of your life, and have faith that He is working it all together into a beautiful picture of His grace.

For we live by faith, not by sight.
