God Is Close When You’re Crushed

Breathe Deep and Know: You do not suffer alone. Jesus is close when you are crushed.

God is not absent in your suffering. You do not suffer alone.

In the depths of the darkness, in the deepest of struggles, at the height of suffering, God is there. And He will not leave, forsake, or abandon you. You can trust Him today, no matter how your heart breaks or how your spirit is crushed. He sees and hears; He knows and cares.

Jesus knows what it is to suffer, to be broken and bruised and despised and rejected. He bears our burdens on his scourged shoulders, and He holds us tenderly in His nail-scarred hands.

Is there a heartache or heartbreak that is weighing on you today? Do you feel alone and broken, longing to be rescued from your pain? Turn to Jesus. Though your spirit may be crushed, He is close. Closer than your next breath.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalm 34:18
