God Is Your Refuge

God Is Your Refuge

Breathe Deep and Know: You are not alone. God is with you, to help you and offer refuge, to give you strength when you are weak.

Are you troubled by anxiety? Do fear and worry press in and paralyze you? What about the sleepless nights when racing thoughts won’t still? All of us experience these things from time to time—and more acutely during challenging or stressful seasons of life. But we aren’t alone in these battles.

When anxiety presses in and trouble seems to surround you, when you are weak and feeling alone, run to Jesus. Turn to Him. He is a refuge, a safe place, a safe shelter during the storm. He is your strength when you’re weak, a steadying hand when you’re stumbling in the dark. He is with you—by your side, ready to help you—no matter what trials or troubles you are facing. You don’t have to go it alone. So instead of responding to trouble and stress with panic or fear, let those feelings be a signal to turn toward Christ and seek the peace that comes from taking shelter in His presence.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1 ESV

inhale:

YOU ARE MY REFUGE AND STRENGTH,

A VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE.
