God Knows Your Needs

Breathe Deep and Know: God wants to hear from you today. Pour your heart out to Him, tell Him what you need, and then trust Him to provide what’s best for you.

What do you need today? Have you asked God about it yet?

He’s inviting you to pray, to talk to Him, to unload your heart and tell Him what you need. He will meet you where you are and provide what He knows is best for you because of His deep love for you.

You may wonder, if He already knows what I need, then what’s the point of praying for it? Prayer isn’t as much for God’s sake—to tell Him what He, an omniscient Creator, already knows—but for our sake—to redirect our minds and realign our souls to Him and His will for our lives.

Prayer is not a magic formula and God is not some genie in a bottle waiting to grant all your wishes. Prayer is a bridge that connects your heart to Christ. It helps align you with His heart as you remember the truth that He loves you and He knows what you need. When you fully trust His heart for you, then you can give Him your needs and rest, knowing that He knows the very best way to meet those needs.
