God Makes You New

God Makes You New

Breathe Deep and Know: There is no sin that is beyond God’s willingness and power to forgive. He can purify what sin has tainted, and He can wash the dirt of sin away and make you whiter than snow.

Before Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden, their bodies functioned in perfect balance, and they enjoyed perfect communion with God. Their bodies, minds, and hearts were whole and without pain, confusion, or sadness. Sin drove a wedge between their souls and the God who made them, and everything changed. Suffering and shame, disconnection and death—all the challenges of the mind and body that we know—became painfully real.

Our bodies still bear the dysregulating and deteriorating effects of sin, and our minds are deeply affected by our own sinful desires. Most significantly, sin separates our souls from an intimate connection with God, which only amplifies the challenges we face. Repentance, therefore, is a crucial step toward realigning our hearts and minds with Christ and welcoming His comfort, peace, and guidance.

Is there a sin in your life that you need to confess to God and repent of today? Do it now. He is ready to meet you where you are with open arms full of forgiveness and grace.

Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

Psalm 51:7
