He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

A SERVANT OF GOD IS TAKEN into God’s counsels. A servant of God is one with whom God counsels, not one who counsels God.

Have you found that God is destroying your little human wisdom and knowledge? The Lord be praised! God wants to wound the pride of your intellect. God does not use the wisdom of this world to express His thoughts; nor should we think our own thoughts and then ask God to bless them. God wants to think His thoughts through us, and then make us a blessing to others.

I was but a hell-bound carnal vagabond; now I am saved and entirely sanctified by the sheer might and mercy of God. Who am I that I can bring you face to face with God?

Yet the servant of God should bring people to meet God. Then the servant should sink out of sight and let God “bind up the broken-hearted,” “set at liberty the captive,” and help men and women to make straight paths for their feet. This is the plan of divine guidance.

Prayer Thought: Lord, You must increase and I decrease in the hearts and minds of those around me.
