How do I know what my calling is?

Psalm 119:105

The first step to discovering your calling is getting to know God better by reading his Word. As God communicates to you through the Bible, he will show you what he wants you to do and where he wants you to go.

God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom.

Daniel 1:17

God has given every individual special aptitudes and abilities. These provide the biggest clue to understanding what God wants you to do. When he calls you to do something specific for him, he will almost always allow you to use your God-given gifts to get the job done. As you await his call, develop those special abilities and begin to use them. Strive to serve God, and live in ways that utilize your primary gifts. Then you will be prepared to hear God’s call.

My life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus.

Acts 20:24

When God gives you a specific calling, it fills your thoughts and demands all your energy. You have a longing to pursue it wholeheartedly.

Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you.

Romans 12:2

When you let God transform you by the power of his Holy Spirit, he will literally begin to change your thoughts so that you will know what he wants you to do.
