Why is communication with God so important when he knows what I’m thinking anyway?

Communication is easier today than ever before. We have cell phones, the Internet—cell phones with Internet—fax machines, e-mail, GPS tracking systems, telephones, and walkie-talkies. Why? Because communication is important. We keep in touch because it is vital to the quality and success of our relationships, whether with our wife, friends, family members, or business partners. The same principal applies to your relationship with God. You must find ways to communicate with him and learn to listen as he communicates with you. Only then will you experience a breakthrough in your spiritual life. The more time you spend communicating with God, the closer and more successful your relationship with him will be. When was the last time you felt in touch with God? Do you need to spend more time communicating with him?
