Comfort

Comfort

My Question for God

How does God speak comfort to me in difficult times?

A Moment with God

In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free.

Psalm 118:5

I meditate on your age-old regulations; O LORD, they comfort me.

Psalm 119:52

Your need for comfort and God’s supply of comfort are always in perfect balance. God welcomes those who call on him in distress. He always answers the cry of the person who is lonely, distressed, or afraid. God loves to show his power in your weakness. Since God is your source of comfort, his Word is your greatest resource for finding it. God’s promises in the Bible comfort and encourage you in this life and give you confident assurance of one day living forever in peace and security with him. God’s Word is as close as your fingertips, and God himself is as close as your whispered prayer.

Divine Promise

Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.

Proverbs 30:5
