How does dependence on God make me stronger?

A Moment with God

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

James 4:10

You’re never alone when you belong to God, for his Spirit is always with you. And there is no one more dependable than the One who created you and knows you better than anyone else does. One of the mysteries of the Christian faith is that the more you humble yourself and depend on God, the stronger you become in character and integrity. When you are completely dependent on God, you can rely completely on his strength.
