“Arise, for the LORD has given the camp of Midian into your hands.”

Judges 7:15

Do you need special encouragement today because all your sources of security have crumbled around you? Then allow how God delivered Gideon to strengthen your hope.

Gideon faced the challenge of his life when he had to fight the mighty battalions of Midian with an army of only three hundred men. But the Lord provided for Gideon in a manner that he could never have imagined.

As Gideon covertly surveyed the enemy’s camp, he overheard two men discussing a dream that, being interpreted, meant God was giving Midian over to the Israelites. The two men were terrified. But upon hearing this, Gideon was overjoyed. He worshiped the Lord, his boldness renewed, because he realized that God had already defeated his enemies.

Allow your confidence to be restored as well—even if all odds appear to be against you. You can know for sure that the Father has not left you to face your foes alone. Rather, His plan to deliver you is already in motion, and He will lead you to victory in a mighty, wonderful way.

Thank You, Lord, for leading me to victory. I trust in Your holy name, amen.
