Not Alone

Not Alone

I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory.

Psalm 73:23–24

There may be times in your life when you just cannot share your burdens with others. Maybe that is because it would worry your loved ones; would cause you shame; or would violate legal, security, or strategic restrictions to divulge the information that presses on your heart. Whatever the reason, you feel isolated in your struggle.

At such times, it is important for you to remember that you’re never truly alone once Jesus is your Savior. You are sealed in Him with His Holy Spirit who indwells you as a guarantee of your redemption (Ephesians 4:30). And the most wonderful thing about God is that He knows even more about your situation than you do. His is the only counsel you really need.

Don’t isolate yourself from the Father. Sit in His wonderful presence and allow Him to reveal Himself and His profound solution for every need you have. Surely He is the wisest and most trustworthy Companion you will ever have.

Lord God, thank You for never leaving or forsaking me. Guide me along Your perfect path, amen.

In His presence . . . develop an intimate relationship.
