Consider What’s Best - Habits of the Heart
Consider What’s Best
I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.
1 Corinthians 10:33
Take a moment to ask the Lord if there is anything in your life that might cause another person to sin or stumble.
Have you been bragging about something you’ve accomplished?
Complaining about something you don’t have?
Grumbling about something you do have that someone else longs for?
Engaging in a habit that is a struggle for someone else?
You will know you have grown in thoughtfulness if the next time you are with that person, you think about them first before speaking or acting.
