Totally and Unconditionally

I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love . . . that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39

Allow today’s Scripture to sink in. How would your life be different if you believed God loved you totally and unconditionally?

Think of someone close to you—a spouse, child, parent, or friend. Unconditionally love that person today.

Refuse to harbor bad thoughts about them. Actively encourage and bless them without expecting anything in return, assume the best of them, and gift them with an act of kindness.

You may not do this perfectly, but if you fail, thank God that he doesn’t fail in his unconditional love for you.
