Spiritual Secrets A spiritual secret is to learn contentment with the things God doesn’t explain to us. Amy Carmichael Your life has unfolded in a different way than you imagined. It’s harder, more complicated, and more confusing due to unexpected challenges. At times you feel frustrated and discontent. You’ve been seeking specific answers, and your heart longs for resolution. Much like the psalmist, you question, “O LORD, why do you stand so far away? Why do you hide when I am in trouble?” (Psalm 10:1). Take heart. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.
