Mvp (many Valuable People)

Since the first Super Bowl in 1967 through Super Bowl LIV in 2020, fifty-five Most Valuable Player awards have been handed out.

The breakdown by position of the Most Valuable Player selected is kick returner—1; running backs—7; wide receivers—7; defensive players—10; quarterbacks—30.

In the history of the Super Bowl, not one offensive lineman has won the award. Yet try to play the game without them. Try to win a Super Bowl without a stellar offensive line. And as to quarterbacks—how many Super Bowl MVP awards do you think they would have won if they had been consistently hurried, hit, or sacked during a game, watching the game from the vantage point of their backsides?

His Promises

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
