Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Psalms 90:12
Every Christian’s life is full of days to be remembered. Let them be remembered with deliberation and resolution and determination. Get alone and make a review of your past life and at the same time consider your future and your approaching day of death.
Such thinking will turn all of the evil of your past life to good and will take all the sting out of death. Pray with deliberation and see!

Pray About It: God has numbered the days of every Christian. Your past is known by God, your present situation is under His care, and your future, including your day of departure from this earth, is all arranged by God.
God doesn’t want us to take our days for granted. We must appreciate our past, our present, and our future. Take some time today and reflect on your life. Consider how God brought you to where you are today, how He saved you, how He touched you, how He cares for you. The result should be a grateful heart and awe at what God has done.
His faithfulness to you in the past should give you courage for the future.
Our days are numbered: let us spare Our anxious hearts a needless care:
‘Tis thine to number our days; ‘Tis ours to give them to Thy praise.
