Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Let us not allow our prayer to jump about like a grasshopper, hopping to another matter before the first one is thoroughly prayed through, and before this second matter is thoroughly prayed for, we are found skipping back to the very first matter.

Pray About It: In our praying, let’s be thorough in our asking. Our minds are too often like grasshoppers or butterflies, flitting from here to there and back again. God would have us pray through a matter before we move on to the next request. Be thorough in your prayers today. Know why you’re praying. Make your case before God.
Only begin prayers that you’re prepared to pray through to their end.
To what end, O my soul, art thou retired to this place?
