I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.

It isn’t raining afflictions for you. It is raining tenderness, love, compassion, patience, and a thousand other flowers and fruits of the blessed Spirit, which are bringing into your life such a spiritual enrichment as all the fullness of worldly prosperity and ease was ever able to beget in your innermost soul.

Pray About It: Although affliction seems to bring us more quickly to prayer, God’s purpose in affliction is for our good. The storms that are falling in your life right now are bringing showers of blessing, but you must pray.
The good that these showers will bring to you could have come in no other way.
