Magnificent Prayer #345
And He took [the children] up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
Mark 10:16
Children’s prayers are heard. Let us enlist them for our work. The great man of God Philip Melanchthon did not despise them. Cast down and disheartened once, we read, that taking an evening walk he heard the voices of children at prayer, and he at once brightened up, and exclaimed to some friends, “Brethren, take courage; the children are praying for us.”

Pray About It: Teach the children with whom you’re in contact to pray. It will open them to God and to great blessing. Spiritual knowledge can prosper a child more than any academic education.
Take their prayers seriously. Teach them to pray for others and to obey God. For your own benefit, covet their prayers and ask them to remember your needs as they pray.
O my Father, open the eyes of my heart to understand what it is to be a child of God: to live always as a child through always believing in Jesus, Thine only Son.
