Magnificent Prayer #83
Magnificent Prayer #83
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy.
Philippians 1:4
Do let us believe that God’s call to much prayer need not be a burden and cause of continual selfcondemnation. He means it to be a joy! He can make it an inspiration, giving us strength for all our work, and bringing down His power to work through us in our fellowmen.
ANDREW MURRAY
Pray About It: Sometimes we miss our prayer time. We get busy and go about our day and our prayers are unsaid. It happens. But when it happens, God never condemns us nor inflicts guilt on us. We do that ourselves. Prayer is the joyous burden and is meant to add to our lives, not subtract. If you’ve missed days of praying and have felt condemned, then you must change your thinking.
Pray on in joy and forget your failures. God does.
Faith cancels all that is past, and there is no condemnation to thee.
