Magnificent Prayer #85
Magnificent Prayer #85
One thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see.
John 9:25 KJV
The more time we spend on our knees in communion with God, the better we shall comprehend His wonderful nature.
ELIZABETH PRENTISS
Pray About It: Spiritual truth can only be understood by spiritual people. That’s why the gospel is foolishness to those who don’t know God. As we puzzle over the great mystery of God and His attributes, we can begin to see how it all fits together as we pray.
Those who pray to God know Him better than those who don’t. And as they pray, what used to be confusing or unknowable about God becomes a secret knowledge between them and their God.
As you pray, consider that you’re getting to know more about your heavenly Father than ever before.
Animated, comforted, invigorated with hope and joy, the Christian draws nearer and nearer to God and beholds Him in clearer and brighter view.
