The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

Prayer puts one in touch with a planet. I can as really be touching hearts for God in far away India or China through prayer as though I were there. A man may go aside today, and shut his door, and as really spend a half hour in India for God as though he were there in person.

Pray About It: Where might God send you today as you pray? There are needs all around the globe—maybe you’re aware of some of them. There is hunger, war, paganism, disease, all of which God hates. Pray for missionaries around the world, support them with your money—and be willing to go yourself if He should so lead.
Lord, awaken a sleeping church. Help us to do what we could if we only cared. Help us, in this generation, to obey Thy command to preach the gospel to every creature.
