Psalm 31:14-16

But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. . . . Let your favor shine on your servant.”

Do you long to speak these words from a sincere heart? How might your life be different if you could say and act on these words with confidence? Maybe you wouldn’t be up at night worrying about the future. Or perhaps you would live more bravely, speaking out for justice and goodness. Or maybe you would experience joy believing God has your future in his caring hands. Whatever worries are weighing on your heart today, recite these verses as a prayer. Remember this truth during the day and fall asleep with it on your mind. God is able (and wants!) to change your thoughts, actions, and heart through his Word.
