Psalm 31:7

I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.

David was crying out to God about the troubles his enemies had caused him. Even though he was in deep distress, he was able to be glad and praise God for caring about his misery. Have you ever felt alone in your pain? Maybe it was difficult to believe that God cared about what you were going through. This verse offers comforting truths for those whose souls are in anguish: God loves you. He sees you. And he cares for you in your pain. You can rejoice in this!
