No Condemnation - The One Year Book of Bible Promises
No Condemnation
There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1
TOO MANY CHRISTIANS suffer from fear and guilt before God. It’s not necessarily because they’ve done anything horrible but perhaps that they’ve done things they’re ashamed of. Or maybe they have made mistakes they regret. But somehow, something in their minds keeps reminding them of their guilt, making them feel worthless and undone.
This Scripture from Paul’s writings helps greatly. Paul tells us that when we became Christians, God put up a big sign over our lives: “Forgiven, free, and guiltless. No condemnation.”
Some people in Christians’ lives may continue to accuse and berate them for past sins. Satan himself, known as the accuser, will come and spew every memory of wrongdoing into their minds and try to make them feel terrible.
But there is actually only one who can judge: God. And he has written “No condemnation” on your life. Don’t worry if some attack, accuse, or even abuse you. God’s promise is that you are free from their accusations and that one day when you stand before him, he won’t bring up a single sin. Ever.
