How can I foster a good relationship with my boss?

Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won’t be faithful in large ones. Luke 16:10

Faithful messengers are as refreshing as snow in the heat of summer. They revive the spirit of their employer. Proverbs 25:13

Lazy people are a pain to their employer. They are like smoke in the eyes or vinegar that sets the teeth on edge. Proverbs 10:26

If your boss is angry with you, don’t quit! A quiet spirit can overcome even great mistakes. Ecclesiastes 10:4

You should be faithful and honest in every aspect of your work, for when you can be trusted with small things you have a better chance of being trusted with larger responsibilities. Try to foster a work environment that your boss can be proud of. If your boss is critical and overbearing, continue to work hard and display a cheerful spirit. Others will notice and your reputation will be enhanced. Perhaps the most important question to ask is whether your coworkers would believe you if you told them you were a Christian.
