Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Is there a limit to how much God will forgive me?

God’s Response

Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?”“No!” Jesus replied, “seventy times seven!” Matthew 18:21-22

All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done. Ezekiel 18:22

With my authority, take this message of repentance to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: “There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me.” Luke 24:47

He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven. Ephesians 1:7

No matter how terrible your past, or how many sins you have committed, if you approach God with an attitude of humble sincerity and confess your sins, he will forgive you. To think that some of your sins are “too bad” to be forgiven is to minimize the power of Jesus’ death and resurrection on your behalf.

God’s Promise

God has purchased our freedom with his blood and has forgiven all our sins. Colossians 1:14
