What makes God trustworthy?

God’s Response

He passed in front of Moses and said, “I am the LORD, I am the LORD, the merciful and gracious God. I am slow to anger and rich in unfailing love and faithfulness.” Exodus 34:6

This truth gives them the confidence of eternal life, which God promised them before the world began—and he cannot lie. Titus 1:2

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, have never abandoned anyone who searches for you Psalm 9:10

You can trust God because he is the source of truth. How do you know? Because nothing he has said in his Word, the Bible, has ever been proven wrong or false. Every prophecy that is not still in the future has been fulfilled. The source of truth cannot tell a lie.
