Abilities

I’m really good at certain things. Can God use those abilities as I serve him?

God’s Response

Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Matthew 25:21

Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given. Luke 12:48

Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, you must do all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

The abilities you have are gifts from God, and with them comes the responsibility for using them well. You may have natural gifts in the areas of cooking, entertaining, managing a business, sewing, handling money, playing an instrument, or many other things. Use whatever gifts you have been given to bring honor and glory to God.

To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. Matthew 25:29
