Praise

The Lord has helped me in so many ways. How can I thank him?

God’s Response

Praise the LORD! I will thank the LORD with all my heart. . . . How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in him should ponder them. Psalm 111:1-2

With all my heart I will praise you, O LORD my God. I will give glory to your name forever. Psalm 86:12

Who can list the glorious miracles of the LORD? Who can ever praise him half enough? Psalm 106:2

You can express your thanks through praise. Thankfulness goes beyond gratitude for something; it also acknowledges the One from whom your blessings come. When you thank God for answered prayer and for his work in your life, you are acknowledging his help and worshiping him for who he is and what he does.

God’s Challenge

Bring your petitions, and return to the LORD. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you the sacrifice of praise.” Hosea 14:2
