Safety

Safety

How does God provide security? Can he really make me feel safe?

God’s Response

The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy! I look to you for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until this violent storm is past. Psalm 57:1

God promises to hold you securely, to be your shelter, refuge, and place of protection. No matter how the storms of life batter you, you are eternally secure with God. Nothing can ever separate you from his eternal presence. To feel safe, run to him.

God’s Promise

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear, even if earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Psalm 46:1-3
