What if the “right” decision is the hardest one?

God’s Response

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, Your Majesty can be sure that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.” Daniel 3:16-18

The right decision may not always be the safest or the easiest one, at least in the short run. God will always do what is eternally right in your life, even though your decision might be a difficult one. Ask him to give you peace and protection as you follow his will.

God’s Challenge

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. . . . Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn your back on evil. Proverbs 3:5, 7
