From Strength To Strength

They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

Psalm 84:7

I love the adventure of faith God has called us to live. I love that following Jesus is never dull as He takes us on a journey from faith to faith, strength to strength, and glory to glory. In short, I love change. But I realize not everyone shares my enthusiasm!

I have two daughters. My eldest, Catherine, loves to try new experiences, visit different places, and taste new foods. She is a great traveling companion.

But my youngest, Sophia, loves routine and keeping things the same. She loves being home playing with our dog, Ezra Blake.

Sisters. Same mother. Same father. Total opposites.

So, whether you are like Catherine and love change, or like Sophia and prefer things staying the same, change is inevitable whether we want it or not.

God wants us to navigate change so we always flourish through it. He wants us to adapt easily, make the best of things, stay positive, and be faith-filled. Sometimes, that’s easier to say than do, but I believe God helps us move one step closer every day. Let’s commit together to always grow and always change.

Jesus, I know that change is inevitable. When I face it, please give me guidance and insight as I grow.
