Lacking Nothing

Lacking Nothing

“I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”

Jeremiah 33:6

For all the tests, trials, and struggles you’ve been through this year, recount them and filter them through the revelation of this scripture: “I’m convinced that the testing of my faith produces perseverance and that I must let perseverance finish its work so that I may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:2–4, paraphrased).

That means you are closer than ever to not lacking anything! What good news. You are well on your way to a lackless life. You are growing mature and strong. And in the coming year, the new tests, trials, and struggles will make you even stronger. God is perfecting you, and He reveals not yet fully healed areas so you can be healed and whole for the next level of your calling, relationships, and purpose. As you keep pursuing Him, I believe you will be mature and complete, not lacking anything. God said so, and He is at work completing you.

So be open in the coming year for Him to reveal even more areas where you can grow. As you do, you’ll find that He is giving you everything you need to live this life in abundant peace and security.

Lord, I look forward to the day when I lack nothing in You! Continue to reveal new places for me to grow, new tasks to do, and new ways to be complete.
