Fear Not - He Holds My Hand

Fear Not

We encounter the merchants of fear at every turn. Choose what voice you will listen to. It will determine whether you step out of the boat and take the risks of faith that God has for you, or whether you stay crippled and immobilised in the boat overwhelmed by the wind and waves.

Christine Caine

What are you afraid of? How long have you allowed fear to control your mind and the activities of your day? When will you choose to accept My help and defeat this crippling emotion? Fear can paralyze you and destroy your effectiveness. Stop allowing fear to rule your mind. Make this the day that you apply My Word to your life. I will help you to confront your fears, and I’ll be with you before, during, and after you make this choice. When you’re afraid of people, think of what Moses said on My behalf: “Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

As I was with Joshua, I will be with you. “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). As you practice being aware of My presence in your life every day, you will develop the habit of turning fear into faith. I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10).

The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

Psalm 27:1
